Nuestro Bogotá Shopping Center is one of the largest commercial and retail destinations in Bogotá.  In collaboration with system integrator TSG, a comprehensive pedestrian access control system was  implemented to strengthen facility security, streamline pedestrian traffic management, and establish precise  control over visitor and staff entry points. The deployed solution delivers secure, controlled access—ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas while maintaining a fluid, seamless entry experience for patrons. Additionally, the platform provides real-time monitoring and reporting for traffic analysis across the property.

REQUIREMENTS

The management of Nuestro Bogotá Shopping Center required a robust, high-throughput access control  solution to fulfill key operational needs: 

• High-Volume Management: Efficiently handle heavy pedestrian traffic during peak retail hours without  causing bottlenecks.

• Access Control & Prevention: Ensure precise user authentication to prevent unauthorized entry into back-of-house and administrative areas. 

• Centralized Oversight: Provide security teams with real-time monitoring and unified access management  across multiple entry points. 

• System Scalability & Integration: Seamlessly interface with existing building security infrastructure while  supporting future expansion.

SOLUTION

The project was deployed using ZKTeco Mars B1000 speed gates integrated with the InBio Pro Series access  control controller platform: 

• Mars B1000 Speed Gates: Installed at key access control points to provide fast, reliable, and secure passage  suitable for high-traffic commercial environments.

• InBio Pro Series Controllers: Serves as the central management engine, delivering real-time event  monitoring, centralized credential management, and flexible access permission control.

• This integrated solution optimizes daily operational efficiency, reinforces physical security, and ensures an  organized flow of visitors and staff throughout Nuestro Bogotá Shopping Center.
